EXO
EXO: industrial area-scan cameras with GigE Vision, USB3 Vision or Camera Link, 1.6 to 31.4 MP and a built-in 4-channel strobe controller.
EXO is an industrial camera series built around a precision-milled unibody housing. Sony and CMOSIS CMOS sensors cover 1.6 to 31.4 megapixels, and the series is offered with GigE Vision, USB3 Vision and Camera Link interfaces. Most EXO models support operating temperatures of up to 60 °C.
The integrated 4-channel strobe controller drives up to four LED lights directly, without separate drivers, and PLC logic functions, timers and a sequencer handle simple control tasks inside the camera. This reduces the number of components in stations where lighting and triggering must be tightly synchronised. Allied Vision names EXO, together with Alvium, as a successor platform for the discontinued CCD models of Manta, Mako and Prosilica GT.
