DataMan 8700

Rugged handheld barcode reader for DPM and label codes, with an IP67 housing that resists oil, water and drops; corded and wireless models.
DataMan 8700 is a handheld barcode reader series built for harsh manufacturing environments. Autofocus, a multi-core processor and integrated diffuse, polarized and direct lighting let it read dot peen, laser-etched and label-based codes.
The IP67 housing meets ISO oil-resistance requirements, works in up to one metre of water and withstands repeated 2.5 m drops onto concrete. An OLED display and on-device controls allow setup without a PC, and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and corded options fit the plant's infrastructure.
