Image archive and defect traceability platform
Images from vision stations are linked to serial numbers and decisions in a central archive. Search retrieves records by serial number, defect type and time range. A missing image or a record without a serial match raises an alert.
The image selected from the search result opens on the operator display with its serial number and decision. A missing or unmatched package creates an alert record; a complete record is made available for traceability queries.

Need
Images and decisions from several lines may arrive at different times. Missing metadata, a duplicated serial number or an expired retention period can leave a requested record missing or ambiguous.
Solution approach
Stations publish an image, serial and decision package to the archive layer. Records are matched by serial key, compressed and retained under the retention rule. Images and metadata are verified together in results returned by serial, defect and time filters.
Process steps
- 01
Station decision
Stations image the part and make their decision.
- 02
Publish
Image, serial and decision packages are sent to the central archive.
- 03
Match
Image and metadata are linked by serial key.
- 04
Search
Serial and time filters retrieve records.
- 05
Verify
The integrity of the selected record is shown.
