Central monitoring and recipe management for multi-line vision systems
Line status and decision counters are brought to a central display. An approved recipe version is distributed to stations during a product change; a line with a version mismatch raises an alert and the distribution result is logged.
Line states and reject trends are shown to the operator. A station-level acknowledgement record is retained for recipe distribution; line control is alerted to a mismatched version.

Need
Lines may run different products and different recipe versions. Because of a network outage or a delayed status packet, the counter and version shown centrally can drift from the actual state of the station.
Solution approach
Stations send status, version and counter packages to a central server; trends and alerts are monitored per line. The approved recipe version is distributed at product change, each station acknowledgement is logged separately and mismatches are flagged.
Process steps
- 01
Collect status
Lines send counters and status to the centre.
- 02
Trend
Reject trends are compared per line on the display.
- 03
Recipe
The approved version is distributed to the lines.
- 04
Acknowledge
Stations report the applied version.
- 05
Alert
A version mismatch is flagged per line.
