Multi-light surface scanning and deformation records for lyophilizer shelves
Residue, scratches and form deviation on lyophilizer shelves need different sensing channels. Restricted shelf access and mirror-like stainless steel make full scan coverage and measurement validity central design concerns.
Original images, form deviations, defect proposals and the rescan chain are stored under the shelf identity. This concept provides evidence for quality documentation; validation and cleanliness approval scopes are defined for the project.

Solution approach
A slim linear scan head combines multiple surface-lighting channels with profiling on a common motion reference. Residue and scratch proposals remain separate from form measurements; missing data on reflective regions are flagged. Real-shelf optical trials precede selection, and rescans link to the same shelf record.
