Separating film and joint defects in transparent medical bags
Transparent medical bags can show film texture, fold marks and joints that resemble defects. This concept inspects the visible bag surface and edges in separate, registered inspection regions.
The defect proposal, inspection region and original image appear in one record. Optical inspection does not replace sterility or leak testing; it supports the visible-defect scope established with samples.

Solution approach
Controlled bag transport and repeatable triggering combine transmitted backlight for contours with diffuse light for the surface. Registration precedes regional anomaly proposals; uncertain images enter review. The lighting recipe is selected using real film samples.
