Evidence-driven visual defect root-cause agent
Related images and events are linked into one review package. An approved cycle prepares controlled reinspection; a cycle with missing evidence keeps the intervention on hold. The workflow, tool calls and human approval are simulated.

Need
A rise in visible scratches does not identify its cause. Without matching product images, station events and timestamps, the operator may choose an ineffective intervention.
Solution approach
The agent reads image and event tools, then compares a fixture-contact hypothesis with reference examples. An evidence-linked inspection plan goes to human review; any PLC action passes an approval gate.
Process steps
- 01
Read evidence
The item image and event context are read while the item arrives. No live external-system connection is used.
- 02
Tool calls
The scenario read-only tools compare simulated evidence packages: IMAGE + EVENTS.
- 03
Evidence-linked plan
Sources are associated in the ROI / EVENT context and a REINSPECT plan is drafted. Missing evidence remains separate.
- 04
Human review
The plan enters simulated review; this phase is not approval. Missing or conflicting evidence produces a visible HOLD state.
- 05
Approval and command gate
Only the virtually approved cycle opens the allowed-command gate and releases the item. A held cycle keeps the gate closed without issuing a command.
