Sealed and open bearing variant classification
Open, metal-shielded and elastomer-sealed bearings may share an outer diameter. Diameter measurement does not distinguish closure type; wrong assembly variants need separate handling.
Release the bearing when its closure class matches the assembly recipe. Hold a wrong or unknown type separately with evidence; do not infer internal bearing health.

Solution approach
The controlled image ROI is classified; the raw image and C1/C2/C3 scores appear separately. The order class and confidence threshold are evaluated together. The table presents the bearing face and compares its closure appearance through three class scores. A mixed or occluded face becomes UNKNOWN.
Process steps
- 01
Recipe
Load the class expected by the order.
- 02
Raw image
Trigger the specimen under fixed lighting and link the image to its ROI.
- 03
Class scores
Reveal the three illustrative class scores as comparative bars.
- 04
Confidence gate
A low score becomes UNKNOWN; a confident wrong class is also not accepted.
- 05
Route
Release the accepted example and transfer the others to the review nest.
