Vision-verified part loading into a CNC machine
The simulated loading record links the correct shaft, seating and machine sequence. Missing door, fixture or grip conditions prevent completion and hold process permission. Calibration, grip and PLC sequence are animated as an illustrative simulation.

Need
Blank-shaft orientation, fixture clearance and machine-ready sequence require joint verification. Detecting the correct part does not authorize loading when door or fixture conditions are unsuitable.
Solution approach
Locate shaft contour and orientation; follow machine-ready, door and target-fixture information separately in the simulated PLC sequence. Grip, lift and carry the shaft to the loading area. Confirm seating and robot withdrawal after release before representing process permission.
Process steps
- 01
Image and source
Image the blank shaft and establish contour and loading orientation.
- 02
Pose and plan
Check the target fixture and machine-ready sequence; prepare the simulated approach.
- 03
Grip and lift
Grip the shaft with parallel fingers and lift from its presentation fixture.
- 04
Transfer
Carry the shaft into the loading area; show machine conditions as separate process signals.
- 05
Release and final check
Lower and release the shaft; seating and withdrawal confirmation complete the loading record.
