Tractor loader hydraulics test
The front loader runs a lift and tilt cycle on a test stand. Position and pressure sensors record the cycle; during the hold under load the drift of the bucket edge is measured, and a circuit with internal leakage shows up in the drift curve.
Pressure traces from both circuits, edge height and drift from the reference are stored in one cycle record; boom OK and bucket NG findings are shown separately.

Need
As the bucket circuit loses pressure during a loaded hold, its edge height can also change. Hold behaviour of the lift and tilt circuits is monitored separately to measure the drift finding.
Solution approach
The loader completes lift, hold and tilt steps on the stand. Pressure sensors record the two circuits and a draw-wire position sensor records the bucket edge. Live traces are compared with the reference height and pressure at hold entry; an NG finding is shown when edge drift exceeds the acceptance limit.
Process steps
- 01
Lift
The boom cylinders raise the bucket while position and pressure curves are logged.
- 02
Boom hold
With the valves closed, the height of the bucket edge is monitored.
- 03
Tilt
The tilt cylinders roll the bucket back.
- 04
Bucket hold
The bucket circuit is held under load and edge drift is compared with the limit.
- 05
Lower
The bucket returns to its start position and the cycle record is closed.
